The 2025 Gotham Film Awards have officially kicked off the awards season, with nominations revealed on October 28. One Battle After Another leads the nominations with six nods, highlighting performances by Jennifer Lawrence, Adam Sandler, Teyana Taylor, Jacob Elordi, and Indya Moore.
Other notable films in the Best Feature category include Bugonia, Hamnet, Sorry, Baby, and Train Dreams. In a unique family achievement, Stellan Skarsgård and his son Alexander Skarsgård both earned nominations for Outstanding Supporting Performance for Sentimental Value and Pillion, respectively.
The awards also honor ensemble and individual achievements, with Tessa Thompson receiving the Spotlight Tribute and Noah Baumbach set for the Director Tribute. The 35th annual Gotham Film Awards ceremony will take place on Monday, December 1, 2025.
