Singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have seemingly confirmed their relationship after being spotted holding hands in Paris.
According to TMZ, the duo was photographed walking hand-in-hand before getting into a car, with Trudeau seen helping Perry into the back seat as photographers called out. While neither has publicly commented, speculation about their romance has been building for weeks after multiple public sightings.
Trudeau was previously seen attending Perry’s concert earlier this year, which first fueled rumours. Their Paris outing also coincided with Perry’s 41st birthday, marking their first public appearance as a couple.
During a recent show in London, Perry hinted at her relationship status when she told a fan, “I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago,” after a marriage proposal — just days after photos with Trudeau surfaced.
Perry was earlier in a long-term relationship with actor Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares a daughter. Trudeau, who led Canada from 2015 to 2025, split from Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage; they share three children.
