In 1995, she relocated to the U.S. to join Harper’s Bazaar as senior fashion editor, a position she held for 14 years. She also served as a consultant for Karl Lagerfeld and was a muse and collaborator for Helmut Lang throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in launching Kate Moss’s career by styling her at the age of 15.
